Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)
NJERUNICROSS Journal recognizes that Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and similar technologies, may be used by authors to support the preparation of manuscripts. Such tools may be used for language editing, grammar improvement, formatting, and other writing assistance.
However, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scientific validity of all content submitted to the journal. Generative AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors, as they cannot assume responsibility for the work, approve the final manuscript, or meet the authorship criteria of the journal.
If Generative AI has been used in the preparation of a manuscript beyond basic spelling or grammar correction, authors must disclose its use in the manuscript, specifying the name of the AI tool and describing how it was used. Authors must independently verify all AI-generated content, including facts, references, data, figures, and citations, as AI-generated information may be inaccurate or fabricated.
The use of Generative AI to create, manipulate, or fabricate research data, results, images, or other scientific evidence is strictly prohibited and constitutes research misconduct. Any undisclosed or inappropriate use of AI that compromises the integrity of the research may result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.
