Reviewer Selection
Reviewers are carefully selected based on their subject-matter expertise. Selection is carried out through:
- Recommendations from the Editorial Board
- Author-suggested reviewers (subject to editorial verification and approval)
- Database searches of relevant peer-reviewed publications using keywords provided by the authors
Review Invitation
Selected reviewers will receive an official email invitation to review a manuscript. The email will include:
- The manuscript file
- The Journal’s official Review Form (Evaluation Sheet)
Before accepting the invitation, reviewers are expected to consider:
- Whether the manuscript aligns with their area of expertise
- Whether they have sufficient time to complete the review within the deadline
- Whether any potential conflicts of interest exist
If a reviewer is unable to accept the invitation, they should promptly inform the Editorial Office by replying to the invitation email. In cases involving time constraints or conflicts of interest, reviewers may also contact the editor to request deadline adjustments or reassignment of the manuscript.
Conducting the Review
If the invitation is accepted, reviewers are expected to:
- Carefully evaluate the manuscript in line with the Journal’s standards
- Complete the official Review Form (Evaluation Sheet) provided
- Provide clear, constructive, and evidence-based comments
- Submit their comments using the Review Form, either directly within the form, in a separate Word document, or as annotations within the manuscript file
- Ensure that no personal identifiers are included in the submitted review, maintaining the double-blind review integrity
- Indicate a clear recommendation on the manuscript, such as accept as it is, accept with minor revisions, request major revisions and resubmission, or reject due to lack of novelty or significant scientific shortcomings
- Confirm that the manuscript category matches the assigned review field
- Submit the completed Review Form and comments within the agreed deadline
Post-Review Process
The Editorial Board will evaluate all reviewer reports and make the final editorial decision. In some cases, revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for a second round of assessment to ensure that required improvements have been adequately addressed.
Confidentiality and Ethics
All manuscripts and related materials must remain strictly confidential. Reviewers must not share, reproduce, or use any part of the manuscript for personal or professional gain. Any suspected ethical issues, conflicts of interest, or misconduct should be reported immediately to the Editorial Office.
